When Nevara the Wistaori has a prophetic dream, she, her brother, and their allies set out on an unprecendented journey to the highlands, an accursed region exiled long ago from the rest of Kiwaft. The highlands are full of such dangers as the Leedalen savages, the Rasorgi sorcerers, deadly and unnatural creatures, and malevolent spirits. Aiding the adventurers is Devez, one of the only lowlanders to have ever gone into the highlands and survived. But Devez comes from the Ibleqx Forest, a land with curses and legends of its own.
In Wistaor begins an epic that spans the monstrous waters of Nevaltasha, the glorious peaks of Wistaor, the fay swamps of Twyden, the haunted blizzards of the Barren Heights, the wild prairies of Rydenbaerg, the bloody battlefields of Varkanshin, and the forbidden land of the flying giants, Glaismora. |
