I am a Christian woman who loves God and also loves a good story. So, I put the two together and write stories that involve God. I have numerous books in the works at the moment. Some are allegories where God is represented by the main character of the story. Others are normal stories where God is God. I personally learn best through stories, and that is why I write. My writings are explorations of different situations or different characteristics of God, such as His love, His sovereignty, or His sense of fun.
There are two things you will NEVER find in one of my books: foul language and explicit sexual scenes. Not going to happen.
About me personally:
I was born and raised in Kansas. I am very much a Kansas girl. I love open spaces, wheat fields, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, thunderstorms... I even love wind. I am the third child of four. I am very close with all of my family - including cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice that I have no intention of ever using. But the classes were interesting, which I why I chose that major. Sara Nicole are my first and middle names. I use that as my pen name in honor of my grandmother, Sara Gene, who went to be with the Lord in 2011.
The most important thing in my life is Jesus Christ. Seriously. I'm convinced that He's more than most people think He is, and that's another major reason why I write - I want to know Him more. He's more than a teacher, more than a king, and more than a nice man. He's also NOT a fun-sucking, never-pleased, fiery eye in the sky. (That was Sauron.) Everything that truly gives us pleasure comes from Him. Love, beauty, creativity, variety... And He is the perfect example of every good characteristic. Bravery, strength, boldness, cleverness, fun, sweetness, tenderness... And He has a great sense of humor, which many people somehow miss. Check out Job 39:13-18 in the Bible if you don't believe me.
Most amazingly, He loves us. He's worth getting to know.
I hope, if you read my stories, that they bless you as they have blessed me. And I hope you enjoy the ride through Aurelia, Kiwaft, and wherever else my stories take you! I'm having a blast writing them. Although, I don't really feel like I'm the one coming up with these stories. The best I can describe it is: God tells me a story, and I write it down. He's the ultimate Author; I'm a humble scribe.
